The Art of the Brick

The Art of the Brick

Dec 8, 2016

I visited Zurich, Switzerland to my friends. They planned my trip to various places and one of them was the “The Art of the Brick” exhibition. Usually I am not an exhibition person, but when I heard that the exhibition was about an artist who shows his artistic skills with LEGO. I was sure that I am going to enjoy this. LEGO has been an essential part of child’s play, I myself was always gifted LEGO sets from my cousins and parents.

Here are some of the Pictures that I took during the exhibition, honored by CNN as a TOP TEN “MUST SEE GLOBAL EXHIBITIONS”. Nathan Sawaya is an award-winning artist who creates awe-inspiring works of art out of some of the most unlikely things. His global touring exhibitions, THE ART OF THE BRICK, feature large-scale sculptures using only toy building blocks, LEGO. His work is jaw dropping amazing, His work is obsessively and painstakingly crafted and is both beautiful and playful.
