Fading LED with 555 Timer


Phewwww Finally it worked!! “Successs!!!” (Dexter’s style)

I used arduino and it was too easy to just control the Brightness of LED by simply putting in numbers in code lolo 😀

I started looking on google a circuit to make LED fade up/down using 555 timer, i found lots of circuits but LED used to fade up but did not do a periodical up and down fading
or if it was fading it was too fast…

i kept on changing my resistor values and finally it came up 😀

so look at my paintbrush made circuit and grab the values and play with it 😉

Parts Required & Circuit Diagram:

  1. 10k & 3.3k
  2. 100mF
  3. Bright LED
  4. BC547 transistor
  5. 555 Timer
  6. 9v Battery
